We have made it an active point this entire time to never accept funds while we were building this out. However, now that the android version is completely done, and we are finishing the IOS port, it's time to actually get all of this ready to put together.

We need a whole lot to make that happen- the funding for offices, as to keep the women truly anonymous we need to only do password resets in person, This also allows further sign ups at our offices- which are much more private than the public events we hold, and for a woman escaping domestic abuse, might be a real life line. This means employees, staff, rent, office supplies, all of it. While our subscription price model will maintain this infrastructure, we could use funding to get us going to that point- every 600 subscribers or so pays for another full time staff member. We want to pay women to be able to protect the women around them, and have meaningful jobs that not only protect them, but the people they know, too.

If you support that, support our work! We are a very small team trying to bring the best version of this project possible. We know how annoying subscription models are. But we have worked exceptionally hard to make sure this was an affordable platform, while still offering best in class security. We have built all this out for free- now we just need the funding to make it a reality at scale. The subscription model helps us never have to work with any unscrupulous corperations who just want to take advantage of women's locations for data harvesting and marketing. Absolutely not, we would rather the whole project not exist then to sell out our lighthouses.
